SculpWood Max is a reinforced, high-compressive strength, two-part epoxy putty compound. It has 4X the compressive strength of standard SculpWood Putty. SculpWood Max is non-shrinking and forms a permanent bond to properly prepared wood substrates. SculpWood Max is machinable when fully cured and is compatible with most water/oil-based primers and paints. Note: SculpWood Max should be used in conjunction with RotFix Penetrating Epoxy Sealer.

Expoxy putty. SculWood Series. Moldable waterproof putty that kneads like clay and cures to a permanent wood-like state. For interior and exterior use. Use to replace rotted or chipped away wood cracks and other cosmetic defects in window and door sills frames railings and furniture. Will not shrink or become brittle after curing. 1 to 1 mixing ratio. Resin and hardener easily mixed by hand. Once cured it can be sanded carved or machined and will hold fasteners nails and screws.

It has a texture similar to butter which is perfect for filling cracks, nail holes and other small voids. The light tan color is perfect for light colored woods like pine, but it can be tinted darker with the judicious addition of TransTint alcohol dyes.
